Napa Valley Grapegrowers Featured in the News
We always love reading the news and seeing our clients featured for the great work they are doing.
Over the past several weeks, we have noticed a lot of attention being spotlighted on Napa Valley Grapegrowers.
We had the opportunity to write a successful USDA Risk Management Education grant for Napa Valley Grapegrowers in 2013 and loved working with their team.
Here are links to two stories on the organization:
· “Female Vineyard Workers Sharp In Napa Contest”: An Associated Press story about the inclusion of female vineyard workers in the annual Napa Valley Grapegrowers' pruning competition.
Executive Director Jennifer Putnam was quoted as saying “The really exciting thing we discovered when we got back to the office was that the first-place female winner would have beaten everyone in the competition—and not by just a little!"
· Jennifer Putnam’s Job Firmly Rooted in Ground: A profile on Napa Valley Grapegrowers Executive Director Jennifer Putnam.
A tidbit from the feature: Jennifer’s first real job was packing mules in Yosemite National Park!
We’re looking forward to keeping up with Napa Valley Grapegrowers as they continue to be newsmakers!
