Morrison is seeking a highly capable, driven, detail-oriented Business Administrator to help with everyday business operations. The Business Administrator is responsible for specific areas of business and office administration, as well as coordination of outreach policies set by the firm’s owners. The position reports directly to the Managing Principal, though works in coordination with the entire organization. The Business Administrator must be able to hold a high level of trust and confidentiality with clients, team members, and vendors. Morrison’s approach is best described by Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” The successful candidate must be able to live this out in their work.

Key Responsibilities Include:


  1. Manage vendors including, but not limited to, landlord, repair services, heavy IT support, equipment maintenance, cellular and Internet services, insurance, bank
  2. Banking, bill paying, client invoicing, and recordkeeping
  3. Maintain files including vendors, invoices, and insurance records
  4. Order and maintain office equipment and supplies
  5. Meeting organization and scheduling
  6. Update and maintain administrative policies
  7. Monitor general office email inbox and department email inboxes as needed
  8. Grocery Shopping
  9. Coordinate travel and lodging accommodations
  10. Assist with Client Projects as needed
  11. Provide assistance with business promotion projects and customer relationship management as assigned
  12. Maintain office appearance and keep office stocked with necessary supplies
  13. Lead team engagement including team building, meals, celebrations, group volunteering efforts, and other various interactions to support team culture
  14. Plan and Manage internal and external Events
  15. Manage CRM System
  16. Other duties as assigned


The Business Administrator provides functional support and coordination of the following efforts and manages related projects as assigned.

  1. General
    • Develop annual marketing schedule to include:
      • MailChimp Blasts
      • Blog Posts & Grant Announcements
      • Newsletters
      • Creation of Client Success Stories
      • Social Media Posts
      • Christmas Card campaign
      • Christmas Box campaign
  2. Newsletter and Website
    • Coordinate content and graphics for quarterly newsletter
    • Serve as primary interface with outside designer and printer
    • Ensure that quarterly mailing schedule is achieved (January, April, July, October)
    • Regularly maintain SEO and update site as necessary
    • Serve as primary point of contact with printing and web vendors/contacts
  3. Marketing collateral and Graphics
    • Ensure all collateral is updated and current
    • Stock collateral sufficiently for various events, meetings with clients, mailers, etc.
    • Properly source graphics, (stock, original, etc.) for use in various promotional materials (website, newsletters, email blasts, etc.)
  4. Social media
    • Create partnerships to promote Morrison brand
    • Develop and manage social media marketing campaign
    • Consistently create thoughtful, targeted content to promote Morrison brand and to highlight the good work being done by the company

Human Resources/Payroll

  1. Coordinate with Payroll system/specialist to ensure payroll is properly filed and paid on time
  2. Track Insurances Renewals
  3. Maintain Regulatory Documents (i.e., Tax filings, License renewals, etc.)
  4. Onboard and off-board employees
  5. Coordinate with third-party HR/Payroll provider
  6. Protect confidentiality of sensitive documents and information

Requirements Include

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, HR, or related degree. Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  2. 3-5 years (or more) of related experience in a fast moving organizational setting
  3. Demonstrated ability to work successfully across organizational boundaries and with diverse teams
  4. High attention to detail and ability to develop trust and hold things in confidence
  5. Effective written and strong oral communication skills


This position offers a competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications. In addition:
